Arthropodium cirratum (New Zealand rock lily)

Arthropodium cirratum

Athropodium cirratum commonly known as New Zealand rock lily is a great clumping, evergreen perennial. The leaves are grey/green, strappy and long. In summer it produces small white flowers in clusters on long stems. Will grow to a height and spread of about 60cm.

A good strappy plant for use under trees. It can also be used in seaside gardens. Will also tolerate wet soils.

New Zealand rock lily should be kept moist in warm weather. Keeping the snails and slugs away is a must as they just love to munch on the long leaves. We like to grow them in containers on the south side of the house. Having them in pots makes snail and slug management much easier.

We propagate and grow Arthropodium cirratum at our wholesale nursery located in Drouin, West Gippsland. If you would like to buy them click the button below to check current availability and pricing. We commonly grow these in a 140mm pot.
